We could not afford to manufacture Digipak CDs this time round, which is a huge shame, but we love to sell merchandise, so we thought this time we will make it more 'bespoke' and more interesting. We have created some of our own cassette tapes of the album, each side contains the full album. The cassette comes in a clear plastic case, printed card with album cover, liner notes and lyrics and we will also sign each copy on the inside of the card with a personal message from both members of the band.

These are made at our own place so it is not 'professionally' manufactured, but they are good still and they aren't expensive either. It is a rarity and a personal item from the band and we will not make many of these at all. The first batch will be of 8 cassettes only. If we sell out, we may make a few more but if only demand is there.

Includes unlimited streaming of Drowning the Pacific via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

Pacific 06:09
The salt of the ocean chills my wounds of fear isolation is open water my bones freeze like stone Losing my soul in too deep Searching for peace in the blue Will I reach the shore or be swallowed in the Pacific gore?
When everything is getting clear Time starts pushing faster for us I could stop all the anxiety but where would our true feelings go? Its an ends to a mean All the hours spent here will fade Confiding our secrets in the rain They disintegrate without a trace
Aquaplanes 05:06
I am a citizen of shame Where all that's left of me is the last of my empathy Retreating to the ends of my morality Searching for the start of something in this sea Throw the water Place the anchor in my hands Take my hands, guide me through the haze It is the last time I will follow you again So spray the remains of the past So it all fades in the aquaplane
There are eyes around me Piercing the skin The coldness swirls beneath my feet I'll aviate myself to sea I am breathing in the salt Submerging from the depths of the fall The seasons change with lack of love The water engulfs me in despair The coldness swirls around my head I'll sink to the bottom I am breathing in the salt Submerging from the depths of the fall
Can you feel the blood in the air? The metallic smell enters my lungs It is time, throw away your fears Bring an end to this suffering Burn down the morals that bind us Destroy the cities that made them We are blessed by our sons and daughters To do what is right at any cost When its time to search and rebuild our regrets Look back at what we have done I would not have it any other way
You hang on the back of my misery Like a leech sucking life out of me Leaving a mark of desire and frustration A feeling so dense it always stalks Standing on the edge of my own shadow It's time to fall into the eclipse Blame me for all the things that went wrong You are responsible too I want to burn you away so that you don't exist anymore you are the only thing standing in the way of moving on
Midori 05:04
Green eyes seduce me Your ashen hair tangles me into your maze The sound of your teeth makes my eyes tingle It turns me away from the abyss When it is time to wander into your mind Make sure the key is in your safe place The length of your love is endless It complicates me in your jungle I never want to leave your arms While you stare into my empty chest
Why should I accept the things that you do If you could throw me back into the lake I won't follow anymore, I make my own choices I learn more from mistakes than believing you Time to move on from the past Ignite the things that pulled me back I am coming of age in these troubled times Start a new life and leave this place behind

'Drowning the Pacific' is the seventh album by Echo Tail, which signals a move away from their instrumental roots and incorporates a vocal performance on every track. The album's theme focuses on people who deal with the problems of trust and revealing secrets to the people he/she are close with. The lyrics of the album aim to portray this concept.

This album was a particular challenge for the band since it is a complete transition from instrumental to a complete vocal performance, but through all the struggles and hard work, we are immensely proud of how this album has turned out, and hope you can relate to the story and emotion put in throughout this album as you listen to it.

We would love everyone to share this album with anyone they know who might like these tracks and download it too, we would be immensely grateful.

Thank you for the support so far, we treasure our listeners dearly.
